Customer Manager

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create new business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position within the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
  • Assist with developing, organizing and implementing sales activities
  • Track and reach sales targets
  • Prepare reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information
  • Plan, manage and attend meetings and trainings, across Mainland China
  • Need to make quotations and prepare proforma invoices to customers
  • Monthly expense statements and annual company audit statements are required
  • Experience in customs clearance is required
  • Assist in purchasing office supplies
  • Manage company WeChat service account


  • Fluent in Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing through digital devices) and English; Italian is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint for training presentations and basic proposals to customers
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Analytical skills
  • A business trip to Italy is required once a year
  • Previous professional references are a plus
  • Previous professional experience in the same fields are a plus

ARKTEK ASIA is a fast-growing company, based in Shanghai (headquarter in Jing’an district), with branches in Hong Kong and Italy since 8 years, representing, in Mainland China and South east Asia, several (mostly Italian) luxury high-end brands in furniture and furnishing. Our customer are dealers with shops, designers, trading companies and high-end private customers.

We are looking for talented Customer manager, to help us develop our business in Mainland China. The role will be set within a dynamic and fast-paced environment and focus on building business through identifying and securing new prospects and developing long-term partnerships with our clients.
Our potential customers are found from fairs in China and Italy and through an intense activity of public relations in the market. The profile is opened both for Chinese citizens or foreigners (Italian is a plus).
